After ten years as a Jesuit, Joseph Kramer devoted his life to bringing erotic pleasure to himself and to the world. In 1984, he founded the Body Electric School where he trained thousands of professional masseurs and erotic bodyworkers. In 1992, he started the Erospirit Research Institute, a think tank exploring the connection between spirituality and sexuality. In 1999, he founded The New School of Erotic Touch. He is Professor of Somatic Sexology at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. He has produced over a dozen educational DVDs teaching erotic touch, which are available on our site.

Kathryn draws her teaching style from over 8 years experience and teaching students in academic, athletic, and sexual subjects. She has been existing in comfortable balance with her head and body for over a third of her life and sharing those experiences with willing students. Bruce P. Grether spent the first forty years of his life living mostly in his head. His breakthrough came when he watched Joseph Kramer's "Fire on the Mountain," an instructional DVD on male penis massage and embodiment. Bruce has masterfully adapted the essence of "Fire on the Mountain" to solo practice. He continues making his own discoveries. Bruce has become a world expert on male masturbation, having published over 120 articles and created an instructional DVDs on the subject. He recently completed the Mindful Masturbation for Men Trilogy of instructional and inspirational DVDs. Plus he has just created Male Mystery School in order to provide the actual experience of Phallic Brotherhood.

Ben Haggard is a sex-educator, author, and permaculture design consultant. Ben believes that how we treat ourselves is intimately connected with how we treat the environment. He is a founder of Permaculture Drylands Institute and Regenesis, Inc. As a New World Sex Educator Jaiya is committed to bringing comprehensive sex education and sacred sexuality into the mainstream public. She has prepared her entire life and engulfed herself with the study of human sexuality. Jaiya is a Certified Sexological Bodyworker, Tantra Teacher, author of the book "Red Hot Touch," and the director of the "Red Hot Touch" educational DVD series.

Ariadne offers coaching, guidance and supervision to Yoga of Sex students and all others interested in somatic sexuality education. She is currently completing her PhD at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. Her research is on erotic epiphanies, transformative experiences that change our sexual attitudes forever.

Some say that Isa Magdalena is the best teacher of erotic touch in the world. She began teaching her "sex and spirit" classes in Amsterdam, and later ran the women's program at the Body Electric School. She teaches in "Fire on the Mountain," and "Fire in the Valley."

Chester Mainard is the world expert on anal massage. He began his career by teaching medical students at the University of Michigan how to perform painless rectal exams.
